Beach Horseback Ride And Tubing
Beach Horseback Riding and Tubing Shore Trip
Take our Beach Horseback Riding and White River Tubing Tour and two things are certain: you'll have the time of your life, and you'll never want to return to civilization!
After being picked up at the pier for your Falmouth cruise excursion, you will drive to the corral approximately 40-minutes away. You'll receive a safety briefing and a helmet, which you will be required to wear for the duration of the ride. After saddling up, you will set out with your trained tour guide for a scenic countryside trail ride through wooded areas, where the Taino Indians used to hunt for food. Learn about the culture of these first islanders- their beliefs, habits, and existence-before Columbus landed and the island was colonized under the Spanish flag.
Ride through a rural trail surrounded by vegetables grown by local farmers, shaded by almond and coconut trees; follow your guide throughout this trail at a beginner's pace until you reach a stretch of white sandy beach.
Upon arriving at this stretch of private beach, you will strip down to your bathing suits, while the saddles are removed from the horses and are traded for a bareback pad. You will then set out on a 5-minute bareback horse ride experience in the Caribbean Sea--a once-in-a-lifetime experience not to be missed. Your total time with the horses is approximately 45-minutes. Time in the water is approximately 5 to 10 minutes.
The return ride takes you along the deserted beach, where herons and other water birds fish in the shallow waters, through the mangroves, which hide the remains of an 18th-century warehouse, and by an ancient waterwheel that powered the old sugar mill on this former sugar plantation.
You will then drive to the White River, where you will greeted by one of your river guides upon arrival. Your tour guide will direct you to the registration office for check in and mandatory signing of a waiver form. After signing the waiver form, you will be given a helmet and led outside to be fitted with your life jacket and propulsion gloves. You'll receive some final safety instructions from your guide and then you will be on your way, as you're led across the IRIE Bridge and into the rainforest. Your 10 minute walk along the jungle path leads you to the launching point of your river adventure. Now it's time to jump into the cool water and begin your exciting journey downstream! You tube over various areas of splashing rapids as you paddle your way through the many twists and turns of the river. As you pass under the old stone bridge, the river currents carry you on a relaxing ride towards the Caribbean Sea. Once you reach the river delta, paddle over some small waves that will carry you to the sandy shores of Bengal Bay. You walk along the shore for about 5 minutes before arriving at Bengal Beach for some time to relax, or swim in the sea.
Please Note: A photo CD is available to purchase on the day of the tour, however, it is not recommended to purchase the CD as the quality of photos cannot be guaranteed and it is non-refundable. Instead, please feel free to bring a camera with you to capture your own memories. No refunds will be issued once a photo CD has been purchased.

Shore Excursions Group was created with one goal in mind: to provide exceptional travel experiences to cruise passengers in the ports they visit around the world. To accomplish this, we have compiled an exceptional array of tours delivered by local experts with decades of experience serving travelers and delivering excellent tours. Our owners and management team are comprised of seasoned travel industry executives who leverage their considerable experience to deliver memories of a lifetime.
We are experts in providing exceptional shore excursions. We understand that in today's fast paced world, vacations have become an increasingly important way to relax, reconnect with family and friends, and experience new and interesting places. With this in mind, we provide the highest quality tours by performing extensive research, and detailed reviews. While other companies also offer excursions, we strongly believe our expertise and approach set us apart. The large cruise lines sell shore excursions - typically in very large groups visiting high traffic sites. We focus on smaller groups visiting more interesting and authentic locations using more personalized local operators. While the cruise lines are experts in delivering cruises, we are experts in delivering shore excursions.
Our Approach
We believe quality service is not only highly valued by customers, but ultimately leads to better experiences and higher satisfaction. Unlike the cruise lines and other tour companies that rely almost entirely on websites, we encourage customers to call us. We want to invest our time answering your questions, providing input, and selecting the excursions that best meet your needs.

Our goal is to provide customers a wide array of exciting, appealing, and enriching tours. For those customers who prefer to travel in smaller groups with more personalized service, we offer a wide variety of small group tours around the world. While exploring the destinations and ports on this website, feel free to search for these "Small Group Tours". For those customers interested in private tours, we offer many outstanding excursions that allow you to travel with your party alone and, in many cases, to fully customize your tour. Search for "Private Tours" if you are interested in this experience. Our "Scenic" tours provide up close and personal access to some of the most spectacular natural environments on Earth from majestic glaciers in Alaska to spectacular reefs in the Caribbean. Our "Cultural" tours allow customers to experience local customs, entertainment and culinary delights ranging from tribal dances in Alaska to an outstanding local meal in Santorini, Greece. Our "Active" tours offer a multitude of exciting and adventurous ways to experience our destinations.
